Used to follow the work of Pininferina, Bertone and Ital Design - Guigiaro. From first casting eyes on the Esprit concept car of 1972, I wanted one, and it didn't go away.Upgrades: Stainless steel rear box, stainless steel braided hoses all round with Mintex 1155 Pads and SRF fluid. Radiator. Full top end rebuild after it was discovered the exhaust valves were burnt out (the car was running fine even though the compression was way down), clutch and belts were replced as a matter of course. Steering column UJ. Wheels refurbished. New rear disks. Battery cut out switch. Problems: None so far but for me it's early days.Info: The car covered 14k miles in its first 11 years and 34k in it's next 6. The first owner won many concours competitions at Castle Coombe around the late eighties/early nineties. It has a unique interior which was supplied from new to the first owner's design. He also installed a very impressive component audio system by Nakamichi. The factory didn't fit ashtrays so that extra speakers could be installed. The stereo now also has a 10 CD changer which currently lives in the glovebox!
The car was supplied with colour -coded rear louvres in a special paint which allows for heat expansion.
Both previous owners have fastidiously looked after the car and it is in excellent original condition.
