My car dates from June 1987 making it one of the last of the Giugiaro Esprits prior to the change to the Stevens model in September 1987.

For the last run of the Giugiaro Esprit Lotus made a number of changes over the earlier Turbo's. The major change being the introduction of the High Compression engine. This increased the horsepower to 215bhp from the 210bhp of the non HC versions. This marginally increased the top speed and with the accompanying increase in torque, lowered the 0-60 time.

You can identify a UK domestic high compression turbo Esprit by the HC designation within the decals on the side of the car.

My car has has had 3 previous owners and has covered 34,000 miles & I have owned it for the last 3 years.
